We are a very busy place with over 50,000 visitors a year. St James has a well-qualified, highly motivated team of staff and volunteers who enjoy working with people from different backgrounds and with different needs and interests to help them live life to the MAX!
St James provide facilities, resources, office space and room hire for statutory and voluntary organisations which enable them to have a comfortable space at the heart of the community.
St James develops, manages and delivers a wide range of innovative community project and services such as Fun-abil8y, Moving Forward, Advice 4 All, Derby Neuro-Hub.
St James is the community base for Derby College, where English, Maths and computer courses are run from.
Derby Neuro-hub supports young people aged 0-25 pre or post diagnosis with a neuro divergent condition. We provide advice, signposting, parenting support, training etc. Our services are free! We work in partnership with Umbrella, Children First, Community One and Autism East Midlands.
